| First topic message reminder :X Halo semua pengguna Game Maker dan member RMID! Setelah sekian lama, akhirnya lomba ke-5 dari YYG telah dimulai. Tema kali ini adalah: “Design A HandHeld Game”. - Quote :
After a long wait it’s time to have a new competition. The theme for the first competition of 2010 will be “Design A HandHeld Game”. We want you to design games using either Game Maker 7 or Game Maker 8 that would be suitable to run on a typical handheld device. That is no keyboard OR MOUSE (edit: sandy, Dec 30th) , a fixed screen size and other fixed hardware limitations. The rules of the competition are as follows
- Your Game must be less than 10MB (uncompressed)
- .EXE only…NO ZIP files.
- Maximum Screen Size 480X272
- No DLLs or other extension packages can be used.
- No Installation packages.
- No use of the registry.
- Game Controls must use ARROW keys and ONE OTHER KEY (space-bar preferred), additionally P to pause game and escape to quit (where quit can be quit to a final menu) are OK (EDITED by Sandy DEC 31st )
- Game Maker versions 7 or 8 only
- All games must be tagged “Competition05” (EDITED by Sandy DEC 31st )
- 3D is OK, provided it uses standard Game Maker features (EDITED by Sandy DEC 31st )
- Contest finishes March 30th 2010 at Midnight GMT

Q: What keys can we use?

Q: What are the cursor keys?

A: This is the *View* size, room size can be anything.
Q: Are there color limitations?
A: No.
Q: Can we use a Joypad?
A: No.

A: Yes, but the game itself must be in a single file.

| Lagi ngerjain level 4. Mungkin mau sedikit perombakan kecil di level 3 biar boss pertama gak bikin player patah semangat, misal kasih upgrade senjata/perisai. Nampaknya aku harus memangkas jumlah level, dari rencana awal 10 jadi 7 doang, atau ada level tanpa musuh (cuma puzzle doang). Agar waktunya sempat. Benar-benar perlu test player sekaligus yang bisa mengoreksi grammar yang buruk... |

| Kurang nangkap maksudnya? Wel, ada bayangan tapi gak tahu bayangan ini benar atau gak. Itu battlenya bikin dari hampir scratch juga. Awalnya cuma ada opsi 3 macam, attack, defend dan potion, lalu ditambahkan opsi tech yang berperan ala limit break. Dan karena masih novice, itu masih pakai fungsi alarm yang diaktifkan sesuai menu yang dipilih. Jadi gak takut ada potensi bentrok seperti kalau ditaruh di event step... |

| kan gini om, saat di dalam dungeon kan selayar item sebelum nyalain lampunya, nah waktu kita gerakin chara ke ujung kanan/kiri dari room, maka bagian dari arah sebaliknya (misal char di ujung kanan, berarti layar ujung kiri), itu ga ketutup ama warna itemnya. . . hayah, pake gambar aja : btw, ajarin donk bikin battlenya (ngarep ) |
