Hello, I'm HanzouMasta. No, not THAT Hanzo who are developing the Valkyrie Stories mega-project, I'm just a beginner who, with his *cough*sky high*cough* ambitions, is trying to make a proper game to enjoy for everyone.

As I said, this game is still on the VERY early development stage. I mean, what, it's doesn't even exceed 10 minutes of playtime (I'm stuck at experimenting and troubleshooting). Thus, I'll need a great deal of help. The more help there are, the better the outcome will be. Don't you agree?

If, by any chance, this project manage to gain more than enough supporters, I might as well turn it into a community project!

A title that tens of thousands of Magicians yearns for.
This title, is more than just an achievement.
It also proves that one with great Magic Power has understood the true purpose of harnessing the power itself.
Through hard work and solid will, one shall understand.

The Continent of Sy-Gnus

The continent of Sy-Gnus, is a land where Magic was found. There lies the largest and only Magic empire across the world, Deiblitsr.

The History of Sy-Gnus (also sums up the story)

The Null Era (NE)

N.E. 0
At the beginning of time, the God and Goddess Kordius and Qissyia descended to Mother Earth, along with six other Gods and Goddesses who founded the other three continents.

Kordius found a rich land in the corner of the world with flowing life. Astonished, he told Qissyia about it. She was impressed as well, and thus settled there.

N.E. 3
Qissyia fell in love with Kordius, and from their love, a new life-form, which they named Human, was created.

N.E 351
The Human population has thrived. Their vast number were unified under Qissyia and Kordius.

N.E. 352
Qissyia fell sick. Kordius took great care of her, and during that time, Qissyia told Kordius to keep her condition a secret since she didn't want to make their children worry. However, the information leaked, and set people on panic.

But the panic quickly subdued, and they all agreed to help Qissyia on her recovery. Many attempts were made to aid Qissyia in her recovery, but it all proved to be useless, until...

N.E. 353
...One day, an unknown young lady had her turn for taking care of Qissyia. When she was about to wipe Qissyia's body, her body glowed, bestowing her with a mysterious power. That power miraculously cured Qissyia's sickness.

Strangely, neither Qissyia nor Kordius seemed to be pleased. Instead, several days later, they vanished without any trace. The people did not panic this time, instead, they appointed the unknown young lady who cured Qissya as the new ruler of the land.

Thus, the unknown young lady founded the Kingdom of Deiblitsr, and named the continent, Sy-Gnus

Thus, the era progresses to...

The Sy-Gnus Era (SG)

S.G. 750
Since the disappearance of Qissyia and Kordius, the Humans has made a great effort to stand on their own feet. They succeeded, and prospered for a long time. It even continues until now.

The Kingdom is now under the rule of the 6th ruler of Sy-Gnus, Ruswell Ottack, who's now on his twilight age. Like his previous successor, he was elected through lottery. He sees this as an unfair and unsophisticated method of election, and thus, he introduced a new method of election.

A competition of strength and wisdom for Magicians. The winner takes it all.
The highest title of the stratus, The Magus.

Countless duels broke all over the continent. But it didn't create chaos, since it was done inside a Magic Barrier. Finally, a single man rose from the crowd as the victor, Nivaldin Prestigs. He then crowned on the following year.

And now...
S.G. 830

The next competition to claim the title of The Magus is about to begin. Elvika Crystals, an energetic young girl with decent talents and great ambition, decided to take part on the competition, ignoring the age restriction. She then joined a Magic school, but she couldn't stand the harsh training in there since it was meant for adults.

Thus she fled from the school, without knowing where she'll end up to...

This is the beginning of a journey through the fog.

Name: Elvika Crystals
Nickname: Vica
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Occupation: Magician
A young girl from a normal countryside family, but with great ambition and decent talents. However, this ambition often gets on top of her head and made her do things beyond her capabilities. She has a rival, Ylva, who has a great talent, but basically just think of Magic as something taken for granted. Her ambition second of becoming The Magus is to make Ylva kneel before her in a fair duel. But despite being so, both of them are on a good term, and they often holds healthy competitions to beat each other.

Vica is really sensitive about her breast size.



Name: Ralph Rudrick
Nickname: Ralph
Gender: Male (duh)
Age: 18
Occupation: Warrior
A travelling Warrior from the neighboring Land of Steel, Draknadaar. He's travelling with his friend Bennett to Sy-Gnus due to his frustration because his girlfriend broke up with him for another guy. Thus, they headed to the kingdom of Deiblitsr to apply to be a palace guard, and maybe to net a new girlfriend along the way.

Ralph has a unique feature of fainting when seeing something extremely lame.



Name: Bennett
Nickname: Bennett
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Occupation: White Knight
An absurd Priest who fuses its current occupation with a Lance, and then calls himself a "White Knight". He came to Sy-Gnus to aid Ralph in getting a new job (and a new girlfriend) to lift his frustration. But his true goal is to create his own harem, being a lady-killer as he is. He don't have a surname because he was an orphaned kid, and never know who his parents was.

Bennett loves to hit on girls, but he doesn't like kids. One valid reason for why he don't hit Vica.



Name: Ulrika Pranula
Nickname: Ulrika
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Occupation: Disruptor
The oldest of the bunch, a runaway bandit from the eastern part of the continent. Being the oldest on the party, she really feels the burden of being a caretaker; from calming down the raging Vica, helping Ralph to look for a new job (and girlfriend), and stopping Bennett from hoarding women in his closet. She joined the bandit corps because his husband died because he were choked with a fork, and because she desperately needed money. When the bandit corps was destroyed by the authority, she managed to escape the ambush and traveled alone in search for a place to settle, until she stumbled upon this happy bunch.

She has an odd habit of submerging her head in the water when she's pissed about something.
