RadiaX: Omega 13 [CONCEPT PROJECT] OMEGA13

STORYLINE

2012: A huge meteor called Apsintus, is moving directly to the Earth. The UN launches a secret weapon to destroy Apsintus, however, due the lack of firepower, the Apsintus only crack into hundreds of pieces, but still hit many locations around the globe. Apsintus pieces spreaded around the world, an spreading heavy radiaton and hazardous toxin around it. Apsintus, unlike other meteorite, is formed from "growing" crystal, that holds a huge and massive atomic power. Apsintus, also unlike other normal things, can grow bigger and wider and spreading around.

The massive radiation killed many people, approx. 5 billion people died because radiation, and also, approx. 2 billion survivor has become a feral mutant or a zombie.

However, to save 2 billion surviving "normal" human, UN quickly builds underground shelters known as "The Burrows". The next earth government will grow underground, as well as science and economy.

2037: 25 years has passed since Apsintus hit the earth. Resources have nearly depleted, as well as clean water and clean air. This tragedy caused many people become wary of a war that could be happened from resource manipulation. And finally, yes, that prediction become true. A big. massive war happened because a different prospect of leadership. The two factions, "Unificator" and "The Freed", always striking each other. However, the Unificator has a bad and mad idea -- to unite all humans and feral mutants as well. Due the lack of personnel, Unificator create clones from prime cells, and robots from the scrap metals around the world. Unificator leader is a famous dictator named "Admiral Rhenin" or "The Dire Wolf"
Different from it's opposition, The Freed is a truly freedom nation. The Freed possess a good civilization and politic behavior. Formerly known as the Coalition, The Freed focuses on economy, civilization, politic, and environment restoration. Different from the Unificator, The Freed wants to terminate all the mutants and zombies, as well as the world threats, like the Apsintus meteorites itself. The Freed leader is a wisdom ex-president named "Urban Johnson" or "The Urban Legend"
This opposition lead the humanity into other world war, The World War III.

2137: The World War III hasn't yet ended. However, The Freed has found a solution for this endless crisis. However, the technology has grown very far from 2037. The Directed Energy Weapon, known as Laser, has become a basic tech for weaponry. The two factions also already used the power from the meteorites to generate electricity to provide energy for humanity.

Ceritanya sih keren.... Banget. Tapi ada screenshot yang lain gak? In game Screenshot atau gambar-gambar karakternya. Engine nya Pake XP ya... Game ini udah berapa persen? :D

cerita yang cukup kompleks.. dan salut apabila ini benar2 dikembangkan anak berumur "13 tahun" dimana saya umur segitupun komputer masih belum kenal,, (mungkin beda zaman :D). Membaca ceritanya bagai membaca storyline karangan orang2 dewasa yang matang dan mempunyai pemahaman tentang politik dan teori konspirasi....

Maen game kompleks: "bisa!", toh cuma sekedar main.
Namun secara psikologis, rasanya sangat tidak rasional bagi anak berumur 13 tahun memahami alur cerita game Fallout 1, 2, dan 3 secara mendalam.

Ok parameter berpikir gue sekarang adalah anak-anak di RMID ini yang notabene adalah anak berumur belasan tahun.
Coba kamu perhatikan, diantara sekian banyak proyek yang dikembangkan, mana diantara mereka yang mengangkat tema serius, kompleks, yang penuh intrik dan konspirasi didalamnya. Semuanya bertemakan Fantasy, Humor, dan tema yang memang cocok dikembangkan oleh anak berumur belasan tahun pada umumnya.

Jadi, seperti yang gue bilang di thread introduce. Salut kalo game ini memang benar-benar dikembangkan oleh anak berusia 13 tahun.

menurut gue bukan permasalahan game kompleksnya om hipon.. lagian gue jaman SD juga dah namatin minesweeper yang lepel EXPERT kok... new generation ato bukan tapi pengembangan storylinenya itu loh.. gue rasa kalo belom kenal ato minimal tau dunia politik dan geo-politik akan sulit mengembangkan plot macam RadiaX.. yg melibatkan negara, ras, organisasi dan konspirasi..

bagi yang gak percaya aq 13 tahun terserah...
sudah lama utak atik rpg maker, baik 2k, 2k3, xp, VX, nyobain 001 game engine juga pernah

aq udah ada plot lengkapnya koq
beserta quest2nya
--jangan remehkan anak kecil, saya tidak bohong...--

PROJECT: 25% (jauh dari alpha ato beta, custom BGM udah, title udah, tileset udah, 30% map udah selesai, tinggal nyari2 script dan buat quest2nya)

DIBUAT DI RPG MAKER XP

(saya juga minta bantuan kk2 untuk scriptny.. ato udah ada yang ngerti Behemoth script?? silahkan bantu saya di script request...)

now (and mungkin sampe 2 minggu kedepan)
project ditunda sementara...
gak ada proses yang bisa ditambahin (krena faktor kelanjutan cerita, mapping dan quest SANGAT bergantung pada battle system dan character2 ku nih...)

battle system: menunggu kk bradhawk bisa memberi jawaban...

charset: devil tools gak bisa di donlot, ada yg bisa re-upload di mediafire?
aku jadi gak bisa konvert chara2 dari charas.ex aku ke XP -- pake paint susah, jadi butuh konverter... segera...

story & quest2: sudah selesai, hanya tinggal aplikasi-nya saja... butuh penjelasan Blizz ABS yang sudah di modif kk brad, dan chara2 nya masih tertunda untuk di aplikasikan...

mungkin baru bisa selesai saat ultah... (taon depan, 2 Feb 2010... hiks hiks...)

semua scripter, developer, dan artist dimohon bantuannya...
maaf kalo saya sering mengganggu dengan request2 yg macem2...
emank saya newbie...

Problem:
1. Komputer tiba2 mati sendiri (Blue screen)

2. Pas aku restart, file game aku gak mau jalan...
warning text: "Unexpected File Format" ketika file game dibuka

Apa yang terjadi?
Apa memang aku harus mengulang semua kerja keras dan jerih payahku?
TIDAAAKKK (mapping dari awal, semuanya, puluhan map... hilang sudah...)

Turut berduka cita aja deh. Gue juga 2x ky gitu, yang pertama awal 2008 lalu waktu ngerjain Another World, gr2 mati lampu tiba-tiba ketika gue lagi ngutak-atik script. Kapok deh. Dan sejak bikin proyek kedua, SESAT, setiap selesai ngerjain proyek selalu gue backup. Bener aja, kmaren tiba-tiba mati lampu, pas gue nyalain lagi, dan membuka project SESAT.. sama ky yg lu alamin 'Unexpected File Format'. Fuh.. untung udah di back up.. tp tetep kecewa, sih. Hehehe

cerita RadiaX barusan di bongkar abis
menghilangkan beberapa persen (sekitar 75%) contekan dari Fallout 3
menjadi sedikit lebih... orisinil (tentunya)

masih dalam tahap pengembangan battle system menggunakan tankentai sbs, lagi dicoba-coba pake battle sprite custom dan icon senjata custom
mapping baru 10 %
(kan ngulang...)

tapi tenang... ke-kompleksan cerita gak akan hilang, cuma dirombak sedikit biar gak mirip fallout 3 (nanti dibilang nyontek lagi...)
